Because we only live 3 hours away from downtown Vancouver, we usually make a trip up every year with a bunch of friends. It started in 2005, when we decided to go up for my 19th birthday and every year after that dedicated to going up. I used to go to Canada as a child with the family but as an adult, you see a whole different aspect of it. While we didn’t necessarily go every year due to other trips coming up (UK, Australia, etc). We did manage to make the best of the times we did go and will continue to go (once I return from Australia).
